*Throw confetti in the air* Say hello to 2009 and goodbye to 2008! I’m back from the New Year celebration countdown! I’ve been idling outside since yesterday evening up till now. Whoops! Shall not further elaborate how my celebration went. On the whole, I’d spend a peaceful and sugary moment with my love one on the last few hours of 2008. I would like to wish all my friends, family, colleague, acquaintance and readers a very Happy New Year and have a prosperous year ahead! Do keep all of our New Year resolutions and hope you have a fun celebration lined up earlier today. Enjoy & be safe! :D Intended to do a last write up of 2008 yesterday evening, but I was way too drained after attending a morning class. Hmmm... My bad. (Backdated post) On the Christmas day itself, Boyfriend and I had Pepper lunch for our dinner. Their pasta was lip-smacking good! I’m craving for it like NOW!  Red for Christmas His. I thought it tasted like the curry udon rice in Nyp south canteen. I swear. The best chicken Bolognese pasta I’ve tasted in my entire book of pasta history EVER. Don't laugh. We were riding smoothly on the road, not until we saw this sign that says: “Orchard road is close. Please use public transport to get into the city”. *Gasp!* Honestly, at that point of time, I felt my butt burning at the back of the seat. I told myself time and again, Easy... easy. Breathe. I don’t want to have myself screwed up the day with my ignorant temper and flared up at my seemly innocent sweetheart. Thus, we decided to leave the bike parked at Bugis street and MRT down to Orchard station. We REALLY follow the instruction accordingly as stated on the signboard. Hell yes!... What retarded good citizens we are! *Roll eyes* We then found out that the whole of Orchard road was close for some outlandish dancing event held strangely enough, at the middle of the road. Oh lord...  Okay! So he bought me Twilight and New Moon for Christmas. He promised to get the full series for me but the other two; Eclipse and Breaking dawn were all sold out in Singapore. I insist he should have just get the first book will do. He even wrapped them with plastic protective cover before he gave it to me, Silly boy. I wonder what’s his planning for my 18th birthday. I force him to plan! Hehe. I know. I’m a desperately demanding girlfriend. Don’t bring me to the movies please. I’d enough of those crazy movie marathons every week. I'd promise myself to do Typography Assignment during the weekends, but, resulting in playing the PSP for the whole day. Promise myself time and again to do my Drawing Assignment this afternoon, I've yet again failed to accomplish this little plan of mine. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!?? "I guess I'll only work on days without the letter 'y' at the back!" Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Everyday is my daY! (Nice 'quote' steal from my Typography class today. *Grins*) Festive... festive, FESTIVE! I'm feeling so layoff right now that I thought it was my vacation! I'm so used in having a December holiday after ... what? 10 years of December holiday! And now I'm struggling to adapt with a different schedule of term breaks and holidays. Why can't we have more holidays and less work? Why we don't experience 4 seasons? I want my winter holiday! :( School This is what I did for Typography Class exercise today! Was playing around with the fonts. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! :P  "Everytime we love, everytime we give, it's Christmas!" Agree? And, this is what I did for my Digital Imaging Illustrator Assignment 1! It's being live trace and live paint like crazy! Slap on brushes over one another. Hehe, only 7 layers were used!  Tho it can't be seen clearly. I titled it "Fallin' From Grace" (I refuse to make it clickable! Bleah!~ :x) (:  This week will be a... hectic one. Bye. I tag along given that I don't want to be home alone on a Public Holiday! Bah! Pretty sad loner huh? Since I'm already off topic, I think is okay to share a little secret with you. I've only got one friend in this globe. I know is miserable. Sheesh, maybe cos' I'm full of thorns? And that friend of mine... was in prison for 3 months already. Sigh. I miss him so badly. My life started becoming less colourful and less interesting. From time to time I caught myself staring at blank spaces, having the same dream. And that is to be with him. But Hey! He's breaking out! Tomorrow. Haha! For some of you that has already figured it out: Ouch! I know I'm very anti-climax. Hehe. Back to the, The long awaited peek-chutes  What can I say?Side dish is always finger lickin' good! You'll yearn for more. Gimme more, gimme more~  Salmon.I think it's rather dry. Met up with the babes at the usual spot; Hans restaurant. So much of Hans these days. Heh. I'm a lucky girl to be able to work with all the ladies on the 18th-20th. Who's going to cosplay on that day for New Era? It would be total havoc! :D I'm sure to take pictures with those babes and of cause with the crowds. Oh well, that's my job :) I'm still pondering over whether to join the booth babes' competition. Sigh. I'll be meeting up with all of them on the 17th for rehearsals and final briefing again. I'm so looking forward to it already.
Never get the chance to snap with Hong ling and Wan Zhuo while we're having our meal in Hans. I should have taken a picture or two while they are fitting the cosplay costume. Never mind! There's always next time! Wait till 17th!!! Hunny came to fetch me and we dine at Jumbo seafood restaurant at East Coast Park with his family. Heaven food I would say! :D After which, we played arcade and a table of pool. Happy-days! It really helps in keeping me awake these days, and yada... which also explains the lack of sleep. Gah! I shall spend some quality time with hunny these few days before events starts. And of cos' ample of rest after all the crazy hours. The thought of returning to school in 1 month time is driving me nuts. Argh. On a brighter side of note, I'll still get to enjoy for the remaining 4 weeks. It will be so different when term starts again. And I wonder who quited and who is staying for the 2nd semester. I'm proud of you baby. Love you always -Veron Labels: Holiday Second accident on the road  Holidays are mundane. I have been rotting at home doing basically nothing. No work, no life, no friend! Argh, pathetic isn't?Once again... my room's resemblance to a pig sty is getting increasingly uncanny day by day, and I don't how long more I can stand it. I need to start packing my room soon but I'm just too pig to get it started! Therefore, I shall conclude that I need a part time maid!!! I've to say that 2008 is definitely not my year! Saturday, when we were on our way to Great Eastern Central for my casting, we met with a bike accident and the taxi driver insisted Hun to pay him straight cash for the little damage that the bike had done on his taxi's back bumper. Hmmm... Maybe "damage" is a little too harsh in this term; let's call it a "cat scratch" instead! :p Dear started off trying to negotiate with the taxi uncle if he could get back to him after we're done with our stuff since we’re all in a rush, but you know this friendly jargon don't last for long. Soon enough, a fight (duh... verbally of cause) sparked off in the middle of the road which led to a traffic jam. Poor people! "Never ever try to push a leo's limit, because you'll never know what will you get at the end of the day!" – Veron The taxi uncle really chooses the wrong time and pick on the wrong guy to argue with. I felt apologetic yet complacent at the same time. Hehe! Dear, you're the man! :D Thank god Hunny managed to control his bulky bike, or else my leg is going to kiss the exhaust pipe goodbye! This is the first time he hit a car after 2 years of riding. He's always a watchful rider but he somehow lost his grip on that fateful day. Rofl. I know it's mainly my fault for rushing him like nutcase. Well, both of us have this phobia on the road now! The other time was a car accident and now it was a bike accident. I feel traumatize even in my slumber land; A vivid recollection of the car impact still haunts me in my sleep on the order of every fortnight. Dang! Death... Is always a morbid topic to talk about... Take care lovelies! Labels: Holiday, My thoughts Saturday weather was awesome, the sun was out, the sunblock was on, and the sky was clear. It certainly spells out the perfect beach day for everyone. It's hard not to think about my Love Of Your Life who was in camp right now; how nice it were to be strolling at the beach, hands locking to one anothers, and enjoying the cool breeze. Yeah... How nice. I wish you were there. With me. Beaching have never been so great with Liz around. I love to beach with the bitch and I love to bitch at the beach! Heh.  Yup, there's a family event over there. Kids running around, mummy and daddy building sandcastles for their children, fun booth stalls over there and tralala! It's s'pose to be one happy day! While queuing for the air brush tattoo...  Liz found this green balloon on the floor. She forced me to do that :P!  Our thangs! I'm currently reading "How to develop self-confidence and influence people in public speaking" by you-know-who. Monday have COMM Skills presentation! Gawd damn! We were provided with everything there. And yes, which was uber cool. Dry our hair and head down to the club restaurant for dinner with Liz's family and pretty Suyin.  We intended to watch the Song of the Sea back at the beach but they lost the tickets and hence decided to head home early. After all the sizzling fun at the beach... Great! Where's my summer vacation!? 2 weeks of break is definitely not enough to recuperate from all the sleepless night I'd pull through each day. Although this post comes a little early since I'm not having my break till next week, I guess some of my friends or juniors are having their June holiday already. Or rather some are on the plane/coming home from their short get-away! Sigh. My life sucks tremendously.
